Friday, January 20, 2012 — In-person absentee voting begins for the presidential primary at your county/city voter registration office. Click here to find where you can vote absentee in person.

Monday, February 13, 2012 – Voter registration deadline to vote in the presidential primary.

Tuesday, February 28, 2012 — Deadline to apply for a mailed absentee ballot for the presidential primary.

Saturday, March 3, 2012 — Last day of in-person absentee voting for the presidential primary.

Tuesday, March 6, 2012 — Presidential primary day in Virginia.

Saturday, March 24, 2012, 10:00 am — Fairfax County Republican Convention at West Springfield High School, 6100 Rolling Road in Springfield (map). Details TBA.

Tuesday, March 27, 2012 — Arlington County Board special election to fill the seat vacated by Barbara Favola. Mark Kelly is the Republican nominee for the election.

Saturday, May 12, 2012, 10:00 am – 8th District Republican Committee Convention. Details are available on the 2012 Convention page.

Monday, May 21, 2012 — Deadline to register to vote for the regular primaries.

Tuesday, June 12, 2012 (tentative) – Primary day for non-presidential races. There will be a primary for the U.S. Senate race in Virginia. Other primaries TBD.

Saturday, June 16, 10:00 am — Republican Party of Virginia State Convention at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, 403 North Third St. in Richmond (map). The official call is here and more details are here.

Monday, August 27 – Thursday, August 30, 2012 – Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida.

Saturday, October 13, 2012 — Deadline to register to vote for the election.

Tuesday, November 6, 2012 — Election Day.
