RJM Weekend this Saturday and Max Out to Murray!
UPDATE: Thanks to our volunteers who helped with RJM Weekend this Saturday! We got a huge spike in traffic today to RetireJimMoran.com due to the signs so we’re making a big difference!
Folks, this weekend, Saturday, August 7th, we will hold our first Retire Jim Moran Weekend!
Our RetireJimMoran.com website, bumper stickers, and yard signs have been a huge success and we are now moving to the second phase of our Retire Jim Moran election plan. For Retire Jim Moran weekends, we will place Retire Jim Moran yard signs at targeted high traffic intersections. These signs will remind voters of Jim Moran’s lousy record and will double as advertisting for the RetireJimMoran.com website.
We will need volunteers for this important project. All are welcome, regardless of previous volunteer experience or party affiliation. The RetireJimMoran.com website is designed to reach out to Republicans, Democrats, and independents alike, and we want them all to be part of retiring Jim Moran in November.
The first Retire Jim Moran weekend will be this Saturday, August 7th. We will meet at 10:00 am at the Panera Bread at 3201 Duke St. in Alexandria.
Please contact Chairman Mike Ginsberg at va8gopchairman@hotmail.com to sign up to join us this Saturday!
See you Saturday!
The 8th District GOP is also happy to announce our Max Out to Murray! initiative.
Max Out to Murray! is a project to raise the funds to give the Murray campaign the maximum $5,000 contribution allowed by law. The Committee has already given $1,000 to the Murray campaign, so we’ve launched this project to give another $4,000.
Please see our special Max Out to Murray page for more details and to donate.
Lastly, we have added a Volunteer page — check it out for opportunities to volunteer for the GOP!
