Below are details how to vote absentee either in person or by mail.
IN-PERSON ABSENTEE VOTING
Arlington County: In-person absentee balloting is available from now through Saturday, October 30 at the County Office Building at 2100 Clarendon Boulevard, right at the Court House Metro stop (map).. Hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The office will also be open until 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 21 and Thursday, October 28. Special weekend hours on Saturday, October 23 and Saturday, October 30 from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
City of Alexandria: In-person absentee balloting is available from now through Saturday, October 30 at the City Elections Office at 132 N. Royal St., right across from City Hall (map). Hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The office will also be open until 7:30 p.m. on October 12-13, 18-21 and 25-27. Special weekend hours on Saturday, October 9, Saturday October 23, and Saturday, October 30 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
City of Falls Church: In-person absentee balloting is available from now through Saturday, October 30 at the Registrar of Voters’ Office at 300 Park Avenue, Suite 101 East (map). Hours are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Special weekend hours on Saturday, October 23 and Saturday, October 30 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Visit the Falls Church Registrar’s Office website for more details.
Fairfax County: In-person absentee balloting is available from now through Saturday, October 30 at the Office of Election, 12000 Government Center Parkway, in Fairfax (map). From now through October 17, hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. From October 18-20, hours are 8 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Special weekend hours on Saturday, October 9, Saturday October 16, Saturday, October 23 and Saturday, October 30 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Satellite locations will be open Monday-Friday, from 2:30-7:30 p.m. from October 18-30, and from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, October 23 and Saturday, October 30.

ABSENTEE BY MAIL
To vote absentee by mail, you must complete and submit an absentee ballot application form to receive a ballot, and then vote the ballot once you receive it in the mail. The form for requesting an absentee ballot by mail is available here. MAIL REQUEST BY OCT 26!
