Thanks to everyone who attended the 8th District fundraising reception with Sen. Scott Brown last Monday.  We had over 80 attendees and raised great money for the 2011 and 2012 cycles.  Attendees had the opportunity to meet and speak extensively with Sen. Brown.  Sen. Brown also gave a great speech, talking about the major issues facing Congress, including the debt and deficit, and discussed his new book, “Against All Odds.”  He also signed a copy of the book for attendees.

Thanks also to Cardinal Events, an event planning company run by Alexandria GOP activists Shari Bolouri and Maria Ciarrocchi, for organizing and hosting the event.  The organizing was efficient and top-notch, and the event ran incredibly smoothly thanks to their hard work.

We appreciate everyone’s support of the event, and we look forward to seeing you at another event in the future!
