From the Alexandria Republican City Committee:

Tuesday night, April 3, 2014, the Alexandria Republicans met and reorganized for the 2014-2016 term of the Alexandria Republican City Committee (ARCC).

Everyone took time to thank and show our appreciation and support for Tom Fulton. Tom gave his time over the last three years to lead the Alexandria Republicans. He worked hard and spent countless hours working to improve the organization and to make sure we were all involved in what was going on in Alexandria.  We can’t thank Tom enough for all of this hard work.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

In addition we welcomed our new Chairman, Chris Marston, who will lead the Alexandria Republicans for the next two years.

Chris has a great amount of experience, having previously been the Alexandria Republican Chairman from 2004-2010, including helping to get two Alexandria Republicans elected to the City Council (Frank Fannon & Alicia Hughes). He has already started off the term by nominating four new officers for the Committee, which the ARCC members elected. He then introduced a number of people who agreed to help run different committees for the Alexandria GOP.

The new officers are Mark Coombs as First Vice Chair, Gail Ledwig as Second Vice Chair, Loree Gunn as Secretary and Brenda Hankins as Treasurer. See a list of all of the newly elected Officers and appointed Committee Chairs for the Alexandria GOP here.

It is time to get motivated and a great opportunity to get involved. All of the Committee Chairs are eager and are always looking for Republicans to help out.
