From the Chairman: Six Weeks!
Six weeks from today – across America – voters will head to the polls with control of the U.S. Senate up for grabs.
Here in Virginia, we have the opportunity to do our part. By electing Ed Gillespie, we will remove a rubber stamp for President Obama and Harry Reid.
The House of Representatives has passed over 350 bills that have never received a vote in the U.S. Senate. Majority Leader Harry Reid is effectively a one man veto. It’s time to ensure the Senate is NOT where good ideas go to die.
That starts by replacing Mark Warner.
Here in the 8th, we have the opportunity to replace Jim Moran with a Congressman we can be proud of. (I probably do not need to give you the list of all the ways that has not happened over the past 20+ years.)
Micah Edmond continues to work hard entering the home stretch. He is talking to voters about issues they care about. And, especially at this time of unrest in the Middle East, we should remind voters that we have the opportunity to send a Marine to Congress.
We can be confident Micah will serve us well and will make us proud in the House.
Please look for a way to support our outstanding candidates over the next 42 days. You can start by encouraging friends and neighbors to vote absentee — especially in the 8th, where traffic could ruin your plans to vote on November 4th.
