Get ready to vote – primary day!
Primary day is Tuesday, June 13th!
Republicans across the Commonwealth will choose our nominees for Governor and Lieutenant Governor on Tuesday.
Polls are open from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Your polling place may have changed since the last election. Please confirm your polling place here.
Lines may be long at polling places, so give yourself enough time to cast your vote. You may want to consider voting during less busy parts of the day, such as mid-morning and mid-afternoon, if you are available then. The line will close promptly at 7:00 pm – generally you must be in line by 6:59:59 PM or you won’t be able to vote if you are voting last minute. Be advised that parking may be tight during busy periods, especially the evening rush hour, so again, please give yourself enough time to park and get in line.
You must bring a valid photo ID to vote. Click here for a list of acceptable forms of ID. (If you come to the poll without a valid form of identification, you will be offered a provisional ballot and will need to take additional steps to verify your identity.)
Absentee Voters: Have you submitted your absentee ballot yet? It is too late to mail them because they must be RECEIVED by 7:00 PM on Tuesday, and postmarks do not count. So if you have not submitted it, you must hand-deliver it to your county/city elections office by 7:00 PM on Tuesday or it will not be counted!
