Over 40,000 absentee ballots have already been cast in Fairfax County alone. Is yours one of them? If you qualify to vote absentee, request your mailed ballot or vote in person now!

The deadline to request a mailed absentee ballot is Tuesday, October 30th. You can request a mailed ballot online at the Virginia Department of Elections website. Once you receive your mailed ballot, you must send it back in time for it to be received by 7:00 pm on Election Day, Tuesday 11/6 – postmarks do not count! If you run out of time to mail it, you can also hand deliver it to your county/city elections office.

In-person absentee voting is now open through Saturday, November 3rd. All counties/cities in our area are running on extended hours with additional locations. You can vote at any location within your city/county – it does not need to be the closest one!
