Remembering September 11, 2001
Nine years ago today, 2,977 innocent people lost their lives in an attack by terrorists on our great nation.
Today, as we should every day, we remember those we lost and their families.
2,606 died at the World Trade Center. 87 died aboard Flight 11. 60 died aboard Flight 175. 125 died at the Pentagon. 59 died aboard Flight 77. And 40 died aboard Flight 93. A total of 411 emergency workers, or heroes, were lost.
Fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, friends, co-workers were lost.
We pledged that day never to forget. And we won’t.
May God bless America.
