We are proud of two of our longtime 8th District GOP members for their involvement with the White House in the early days of the new administration on critical issues.

Today, Morton Blackwell, Virginia’s Republican National Committeeman, president of the Leadership Institute, and longtime Arlington GOP member, was part of a panel of conservative leaders that met privately with President Trump & Vice President Pence to discuss strategy for confirming Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court:

Also today, Bill Cleveland, one of the 8th District’s delegates to the 2016 Republican National Committee, former vice mayor of Alexandria and a longtime Alexandria GOP member, was part of another panel that met privately with Trump & Pence to discuss issues facing the black community as part of the first day of Black History Month.
