Brenda Hankins announced that she is stepping down as Chairman of the Alexandria Republican City Committee because of a new job. Brenda was a tremendous chairman of the Alexandria Republicans. She revitalized the committee’s website, further developed a strong precinct organization, ensured a constant presence at Alexandria’s farmers markets, and increased the membership of the party. She also played an integral role in last year’s “Retire Jim Moran” campaign. She has been a tireless leader and supporter of the party. First Vice Chairman Tom Fulton is now the chairman of the committee. We thank Brenda for her remarkable leadership of the Alexandria GOP over the last year and a half.
