Mark your calendars!
Mark your calendars, folks — The 8th District GOP will be hosting a fundraiser with Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling next month!
On Thursday, July 22nd, join us for a great evening of talking politics and enjoying good food at the beautiful home of Falls Church GOP Chairman Bruce Swenson.
Tickets will be available soon, and we are recruiting for the Host Committee at levels of $1,000, $500, $250, and $125. If you are interested in the Host Committee, please contact Mike Ginsberg at va8gopchairman@hotmail.com or Shari Bolouri at shari@sharibolouri.com.
The proceeds from the event will go towards supporting our nominee as well as the 8th District Committee’s aggressive general election plan, including continued work on our RetireJimMoran.com website and visibility efforts to drive traffic to the site, and our GOTV, absentee balloting, and other efforts that the committee and local units will undertake.
So mark your calendars — we hope to have a great turnout for our first event of the general election campaign!
Also, join the 8th District GOP this Saturday, June 19th, at the Fairfax County Republican Committee’s Annual “No Ties Allowed” Family BBQ and Volunteer Awards Presentation! Bring your families to this great event featuring Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli and RPV Chairman Pat Mullins, with special guests Rep. Frank Wolf, our own Patrick Murray, and 11th District nominee Keith Fimian! It will be held Saturday, June 19th, from 4-7 pm at the Bull Run Regional Park Pavilion on 7700 Bull Run Drive, Centreville, VA 20121. Tickets are $35/individual or $50/family. Sponsorships are available at $100 (Family Sponsor, 4 tickets), $250 (Sponsor, 8 tickets), and Host ($500, 10 tickets). Please RSVP to Kerry O’Brien at kerry@fairfaxgop.com or call the FCRC headquarters at 703-766-4467. We hope to see you there!
